An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing frozen food businesses as Senior National Account Manager. Part of a leading European food group comprising seven companies, the UK division specialises in producing high-quality private label, value-added vegetarian and meat-based frozen and chilled finger foods and party snacks.
The business has a glowing reputation across the industry, and this been recognised through several awards. The business has a significant presence across the grocery multiple retailers, discounters and Foodservice channels. Following significant business growth and future business plans they are seeking a Foodservice National Account Manager to join the team.
Role
As a Senior National Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for driving a portfolio of customers within the foodservice channel. Customers within the portfolio include national wholesalers such as Brakes and Bidfood, restaurant groups and contract caterers. In addition to the management of the current customer portfolio, you will be tasked with developing new business across the education, travel and leisure channels. Reporting into the Commercial Director you can expect a great degree of autonomy to build and develop the business whilst being given the support to develop your career.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the Foodservice channel, you will be operating at National Account Manager level. As for product background, experience with private label food products is essential. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part their long-term plans and growth strategy.
Benefits
£55,000 to £70,000, 20% bonus, company car / allowance & benefits
Location
This is a home based position with an expectancy to visit customers and manufacturing sites across the UK
