iMultiply is working in partnership with a growing Accountancy Practice to recruit the newly created position of Client Manager.

A small Accountancy Practice based in the centre of Edinburgh. The Firm works hard to maintain a fun and positive environment.
The Role
The position of Client Manager is a newly created position which highlights the growth and success the business has enjoyed in recent years. The role can be on a part or full-time basis and would be well-suited to candidates coming from another Accountancy Practice.
Duties
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including individuals and owner-managed businesses.
- Prepare and review accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders.
- Prepare and review corporation, partnership, and personal tax returns and computations.
- Ensure timely completion of all client work while maintaining efficient team workflows.
- Review bookkeeping and VAT returns for quarterly submissions.
- Conduct research to resolve complex or high-risk client cases and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead client meetings and facilitate annual portfolio growth of 20%.
- Oversee new client engagement processes.
- Plan and lead accounts meetings to optimize resource allocation.
- Attend networking events to expand business connections.
· Support the director in managing the department and office operations.
· Review team work-in-progress (WIP) to maximize margins and allocate resources effectively.
· Oversee weekly resourcing to meet deadlines.
· Supervise and support team development, ensuring training and progress reviews are completed on schedule.
· Monitor and approve time sheets for team members.
· Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members within required timelines.
· Maximize chargeable time for client work.
The Person
- Fully qualified
- 3-5 years of Practice experience
- Strong problem-solving skills to independently resolve client issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality written communication.
- A positive, proactive mindset with the ability to manage high-pressure and complex workloads.
On Offer
The role of Client Manager can be fulfilled on a part-time or full-time basis. Hybrid working is on offer and the business offices are based in the city centre, situated within close proximity to public transport links.
