Multi-channel marketers design, build and implement campaigns across a variety of platforms to drive audience engagement. This role will be working in the Children’s & Education Marketing team. This team work tirelessly to build strategies and develop campaigns to bring the youngest audiences (and their parents) into the BBC.

What will you be doing on the apprenticeship?
As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice you’ll be asked to:
- Manage and operate integrated campaigns across online and offline channels
- Use research data to inform marketing decisions, targeting, planning and delivery
- Publish, monitor and respond to editorial, creative or video content via website, social media/video sharing platforms and offline platforms
- Use data analysis to support content planning based on events, cultural moments, and BBC priorities
- Create impactful content using principles of design and copywriting for online and offline mediums

What will you be studying?
You’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. The curriculum will take you through several core modules, including marketing fundamentals, analysis, planning & strategy, campaign management, content & communication, and analysis & evaluation. Where could the role take you?
The apprenticeship will provide an insight into the fundamentals of Marketing with hands-on experience in a range of departments, maximising exposure to various functions within the organisation. On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to look for permanent entry level marketing job opportunities inside or outside the BBC.Â
This scheme starts in September 2025, and you will be on a fixed term contract which means your contract is for the duration of the apprenticeship only. Â The duration of this scheme is 18 months.Â

To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must: Â
- Be aged 18 or over when the apprenticeship starts in September 2025
- By the start of the apprenticeship in September 2025, have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for a minimum of 3 years.
- Be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract.
- Not currently taking part in an apprenticeship scheme supported by the BBC or another organisation.Â

To apply for this scheme, you must also:
- Have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or equivalent qualification. Â If you have not achieved English and Maths at Level 2 by the start of your apprenticeship you will be required to achieve this, before the end of your apprenticeship when you take your end-point assessment.
- Not already have  a  Marketing qualification at level 3 or higher.Â
