Our client is a prestigious US law firm with a market-leading Derivatives and Structured Products practice. To further strengthen its high-performing London team, the firm is seeking an associate with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in derivatives and structured products transactions.

The team advises a sophisticated global client base – including investment banks, asset managers, private equity firms, hedge funds, and corporates – on a broad range of derivatives, structured products, and related regulatory matters. The practice covers all aspects of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives, repos and stock lending, structured credit, securitised derivatives, and regulatory capital-driven transactions. The group also plays a key role in pioneering complex, bespoke solutions across European and US markets.

Associates in this team will benefit from exposure to high-profile transactions and hands-on involvement in cutting-edge derivatives and structured finance deals. Working alongside top-ranked partners associates will gain invaluable experience in complex structuring, documentation, and regulatory advisory work.

Requirements:

  • England & Wales qualification with 4-5 years of derivatives and structured products experience at a leading international law firm
  • Strong academic credentials and a solid track record of advising financial institutions and buy-side clients
  • Experience in OTC derivatives, structured products, repos, securities lending, or regulatory capital transactions is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ISDA documentation, clearing arrangements, and netting opinions is advantageous
