The Position
Our client is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their Secondary Care Services based in Hillingdon and Hounslow dermatology clinics. This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys working independently, while being a part of a supportive and friendly team. The ideal candidate would have previous experience as Healthcare Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or any other clinical setting with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible. Candidates must hold a Phlebotomy qualification and be experienced in collecting and processing venous blood samples.
Role Requirements
Experienced phlebotomist.
Ordering supplies and equipment.
Explaining to patients what will take place during their appointment.
Undertaking tasks and duties delegated by the clinical and management teams.
Providing care for the patient whilst maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Ensuring patient comfort, dignity and privacy are always maintained and are specific to the patients’ needs.
To support a high-quality clerical and clinical support service, entering patient data into computer systems, always ensuring attention to detail.
Being professional, timely and reliable.
Ensuring confidentiality is always adhered to. Proficient use of Computer Software Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
