Join University for the Creative Arts Students' Union (UCASU) as an External Trustee!
We’re looking for three passionate and committed External Trustees to join UCASU Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a values-driven, student-led charity that represents over 5,000 creative students across Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, and Maidstone TV Studios.
As a Trustee, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting a meaningful and supportive student community. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with expertise in:
Finance
Human Resources (HR)
Legal & Compliance
Safeguarding
Development (Fundraising, Sponsorship)
Commercial Enterprise
This is a voluntary role with an expected commitment of 2-4 hours per month, including attending Board meetings and contributing to subcommittees. We are especially welcoming applications from disabled and/or neurodivergent candidates, as well as those with English as an additional language.
