Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Configuration Engineer Rate: £45PH via Umbrella Location: Bolton 2 days required on site Duration: 6-months Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for Configuration Management? This company is seeking a talented Senior Configuration Engineer to join their dynamic team. As the Senior Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Configuration Manager on various projects, including taking ownership of the Product definition and/or Configuration Management of a minor project or major parts of a larger project. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Configuration Engineer role: Maintain the integrity of all elements that constitute the design for the company's products Manage the correct design definitions for potentially multiple product variants Successfully implement engineering changes against the appropriate instances Review engineering changes to ensure business processes and approbation controls are adhered to Provide comprehensive and timely preparation for Configuration MeetingsThe ideal candidate for this Senior Configuration Engineer role will have: High level of knowledge and experience in the principles of Configuration Management Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving Ability to plan and deliver their own workload efficiently High degree of IT literacy, including experience with the company's PLM tool, WindchillCarbon60, Lorien & SRG – The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
