Are you a trained Qualified Heavy Goods Mechanic

Excellent! Because we're currently looking for talent. You'll make sure that the best trucks are back on the road as fast as possible when they require maintenance. You'll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking on responsibility, then we'll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and to decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks. You'll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

Working on a rotating shift of earlies and lates.

This is what you'll be doing:

• You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You'll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
• You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

Qualifications

• Heavy vehicle service and maintenance technician (level 3) NVQ
• IMI Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence
• Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician ( City and Guilds)
• Motor vehicle service and maintenance technician – light vehicle
• IMI Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence
