Underwriting Analyst

I am looking to speak to analytical Underwriting Technicians or Underwriters who want to move to the technical foundation of our Underwriting market!

My client is a market-leading Insurer. This role will give you the opportunity to get into Underwriting.

This position is integral to the Modelling and Analytical capabilities of the Underwriting (UW) function. Reporting to the Senior UW Management Analyst, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the rest of the team and provide analysis of the property portfolio and all UW areas of the business, including the performance of existing third-party contracts., * Managing risk exposure aggregates and loss ratios

• Engaging in IT and wider business projects

• Enhancing the performance of client contracts through detailed analysis

• Participating in data analysis projects across various underwriting areas

• Offering insights and support to the Underwriting Management department

• Minimum of 3 years in an underwriting support or analyst role

• Experience in US Property is advantageous

• Familiarity with underwriting processes, ideally with a background as a binder technician

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills

• Systems: SQL, Tableau, and Excel is beneficial
