Our clients is a specialist joinery manufacturer producing high-quality bespoke furniture and joinery. We are seeking a skilled Furniture Sprayer & Finisher to join their team and contribute to the finishing of our custom-made pieces. Job Role: As a Furniture Sprayer & Finisher, you will be responsible for the preparation and finishing of high-end furniture and joinery items. You will ensure the highest quality standards in surface preparation, priming, painting, lacquering, and finishing. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing and sanding furniture and joinery components for finishing * Applying primers, paints, lacquers, and stains to achieve the required finish * Ensuring all finishes meet our high-quality standards * Colour matching and mixing paints as required * Maintaining spray booths and finishing areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency * Working with a variety of materials including wood, MDF, and veneers * Assisting in the development of improved finishing techniques and processes * Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE and ventilation systems Requirements & Skills: * Experience in furniture spraying and finishing, preferably in a joinery workshop * Alternatively, experience in car spraying with transferable skills * Strong knowledge of paint, lacquer, and staining techniques * Ability to work with different finishes such as matt, satin, and high gloss * Attention to detail and commitment to high standards Opportunities for Progression: We are also open to hiring a Spraying / Finishing Progressor, someone eager to learn and develop into a fully skilled sprayer. This role would involve sanding, prepping, and finishing ahead of painting, with training provided to advance your skills.
