Level 2 Nursery Assistant – SEND Support

Full-time | Term-time only

Are you a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner looking to build experience in a supportive and welcoming nursery setting? Do you have a passion for helping young children with additional needs flourish? A fantastic term-time only nursery school in Brixton is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEND Nursery Assistant to work within their specialist nurture room.

The Role:

• Support children under 5 years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Assist with play-based learning, sensory activities, and daily routines.
• Provide personal care where required.
• Work closely with teachers and nursery staff to support each child’s development.
• Help with preparing activities, keeping equipment clean and safe, and contributing to child observations and reports.

This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), offered until July 2025, with the potential for ongoing opportunities in September.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You must hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification recognised for ratios in nursery settings.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is ideal, but not essential – the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!
• You’ll be calm, patient, and committed to making a positive difference.
