Large service business based in the Manchester Airport area requires a Senior FP&A Analyst for their growing team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a large commercial team that will offer an opportunity to develop and progress within the organisation;
The role will lead on key FP&A deliverables with responsibilities for the following;

Corporate month end reporting

Year End and Half Year performance analysis: ownership of the management accounts pack supporting the group FD with year on year movement analysis and understanding

Supporting on adhoc analysis and planning: in partnership with the various areas of the business

The continuous development of reporting across the group: with proactive utilisation of our reporting tools

Proactive analysis on current affairs impacting the aviation industry: including competitor analysis

A qualified accountant with experience leading and delivering financial analysis

Strong modelling capability and advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Excellent interpersonal, management & influencing skills. Can influence at all levels in the business in order to engage the co-operation of people who are not direct reports

Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.

Self-motivated individual with effective organisational skills and a positive attitude that wants to develop themselves and those around them.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, and a demonstrated ability to communicate opinions and findings in writing or by delivering presentations.
