OSP T&I Lead required for a major offshore wind developer based in England
Responsibilities.
- Report to the T&I Work Package Manager (WPM).
- Support the WPM and Deputy WPM in the technical management of the T&I scope.
- Be specifically responsible for the safe and efficient technical execution of the OSP T&I works.
- Ensure that the OSP T&I contractor technically execute the works as per the quality standards set up within the Projects.
- Interface closely with the EPC work packages, as well as defining the T&I Contractor requirements, planning and mapping the load out sequence, the transfers of custody between the different parties involved, etc.
- Efficiently interface with all other technical work packages (OSP, Export Cable, IAC, Geo, etc.) as well as other internal stakeholders regarding the OSP scope specific requirements.
- Take on the technical leading role with the T&I Contractors tendering the works during the bid phase, the clarification and negotiation phase and thereafter the contract execution phase.
- Provide valuable input in the evaluation and costing of development.
Requirements
- A master's degree or the equivalent in engineering or industrial engineering.
- Your knowledge on OSP related scopes and required operations are essential, including heavy lift, Jacket and pile driving experience.
- A good understanding and working knowledge of large-scale energy projects in the offshore energy sector, preferably in Offshore Wind.
- practical experience in marine logistics, especially transport and installation of heavy structures for offshore projects.
- You are very effective in multi-stakeholders' relationship building, demonstrated by your effective presentation, communication and negotiation skills, collaborative, assertiveness and teamwork attitude.
- Your ability and willingness to travel are crucial requirements for being a member of the team that operates across different locations, including London.
- Offshore trips and support will be a requirement.
