Are you an experienced and compassionate care professional with a deep understanding of complex care needs? We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team and provide high-quality care for clients with specific needs, including spinal injuries, ventilator support, and more. We are currently for Complex Care Workers to work in Islington N1 2BX. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert care for individuals with spinal injuries, including assistance with the use of collars and braces, such as hard collars, and supporting with log rolling techniques. * Manage tracheostomy care, ensuring proper ventilation and airway clearance. * Support clients who are ventilated and require specialised care plans to manage their needs effectively. * Recognize and respond to autonomic dysreflexia, following protocols to ensure immediate and appropriate action. * Implement and monitor epilepsy seizure management plans, offering support and care before, during, and after seizures. * Assist with manual bowel evacuation procedures as part of a comprehensive care routine. Essential Experience & Skills: * Proven experience in complex care settings, specifically with spinal injuries and ventilator-dependent clients. * Knowledge and practical experience with hard collars, braces, and the log rolling process for spinal injury care. * Experience in managing tracheostomy care, including suctioning and respiratory support. * Understanding of autonomic dysreflexia and epilepsy seizure management. * Ability to follow detailed care plans and provide compassionate, tailored support to individuals with varying needs. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated care team.
