Our Digital Enterprise Solutions (DES) Department leverages extensive manufacturing know-how for enlightened enterprise systems. The Role: To define, build and support technical solution with good working relationship with the project team members and the client’s technical and management personnel. Participate in all phases of a project from requirements definition through system deployment and production trials. Work closely with Project Managers and other technical resources to deliver the solution that meets the project’s requirements for quality, budget, and schedule. Travel to various project sites will be required for requirements gathering, client meetings, engineering support and delivery as required. Should be able to present the architecture through review boards and get approvals. Area of Responsibility Architect and lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES)/Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and system integration solutions projects Define functional requirements/Blue Print for MES solutions through client interviews and documentation analysis Provide project execution leadership and mentor fellow project members Quickly learn new skills and technologies Work effectively at different levels within project teams, client organizations and sales Develop and improve processes, procedures and tools used in the execution of projects Work with customers to develop project methodologies that will enhance their standards Act as a liaison between the internal and customer project teams, internal management, and customer management Understand the project scope and financials, and participate in the framing and quoting of projects to ensure successful project execution Plan and organize the work of a project team, develop the implementation strategies for projects, act as a mentor for individuals within the group Identify change requests and justify changes; resolve issues and establish priorities between projects Commission systems at customers’ plants Proactively develop customer relationships; anticipate and provide solutions to customer needs giving high priority to customer satisfaction Comprehensive knowledge on manufacturing processes including Quality Control, Material Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Production Order Dispatching and Execution Comprehensive knowledge and upstream and downstream integration of application. Knowledge / Experience Extensive experience in the MES/MOM space Experience of end to end delivery of multiple client projects Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees at different levels of the organization Experience of working for overseas clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work in a team environment as both a leader and an individual contributor Ability to establish good working relationships with others from all levels Willingness to travel to project locations Willingness to involve in different project delivery cycles including maintenance and support Experience working with customers to create user requirements for MES Follow best practices for developing applications and services Understanding of ISA 95 guidelines Integration of MES, PLM, ERP and shop floor systems Must have knowledge and experience of all the steps of SDLC Should have experience in Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies Should have a knowledge of DevOps Knowledge of Azure or AWS would be an added advantage Knowledge of Automobile plant processes would be an added advantage Certification like TOGAF , SAFe (Architects) would be added advantage If you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on and want to join a global company, then this is the place for you.
