Data Analyst – Pensions – Salary of Circa £32,000 Are you currently a Pension Administrator with Bulk Purchase Annuity or Defined Benefit experience? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you! If you enjoy working with data and are keen to enhance your skills, we have a fantastic opportunity to provide you with the prospect to develop your skills/careers as a Data Analyst. We are recruiting for a Pension Administrator, to be a part of our Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) team. This is a great role for an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and communication skills who’s passionate about delivering first class service. You will join a supportive and growing team at an exciting time, as we shape our proposition and re-design how we work to achieve our goals. A bit about the job: You will be joining our new Business Onboarding team. The team is responsible for the installation of a scheme from the transaction date, to when it is ready to move into the BAU administration team. While in the position your duties may include but are not limited to: Conducting checks regarding data integrity, completeness and accuracy, summarising data with explanations and presenting it in manageable ways. Comparing and working with large data extracts with complex benefit structures. Documenting all anomalies and issues, ensuring these are fully investigated and resolved. Conducting checks on the data with complex benefit structures in readiness for final repricing within set timescales, understanding challenges as they come about and removing blockages for the team. First point resolution and escalation point for scheme data, reconciliations and queries. Support the Onboarding of schemes with our system experts on to the BPA systems whilst supporting a seamless transition to BAU. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Good technical working knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes and/or Bulk Purchase Annuities, with complex benefit structures. Good at working with data sets and working with large volumes of data or some experience working with data and a keen interest to develop your data capabilities.
