The successful candidate will be responsible for producing manufacturing drawings, designing mechanical components and assemblies, and ensuring designs are optimized for production. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Key Responsibilities Create detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. Design mechanical components, assemblies, and sheet metal parts for production. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and manufacturing requirements. Revise and update existing designs based on feedback from production teams. Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and basic structural calculations. Assist in the creation of BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical documentation. Work closely with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams to resolve design issues. Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
