A leading London law firm, Sheridans, is seeking a PA to join our Real Estate & Development team. The successful individual will support the Principal Partner and assist with Residential and some commercial property matters.
The team advises clients across core sectors, specialising in commercial property transactions including acquisition and disposal of sites, lettings, residential and commercial development, joint ventures, property finance, and landlord and tenant matters.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality work while managing deadlines.
- Initiating and overseeing the file matter opening process, including due diligence and client liaison.
- Assisting the Principal with day-to-day transaction management.
- Preparing transaction bibles and files for closings.
- Extensive diary management for the Principal.
- Preparation and coordination of accurate client bills.
- Liaising with local authorities and agencies.
- Conducting research and extensive document work.
- Implementing reporting procedures and proactive transaction monitoring.
- Audio Typing using digital dictation.
- Managing the DocuSign process.
- Dealing with post completion matters such as SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
- Assisting with residential lease extension claims and enfranchisement work.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Real Estate law is essential.
- High level effective experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or PA.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with GDPR and confidentiality procedures.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- A strong academic record.
- Qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or CILEx Level 3 Diploma for Legal Secretaries are desired but not essential.
