PURPOSE: We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our Villas team. This is a wide-ranging role incorporating varied administrative tasks which are integral to the smooth running of holiday sales and operations. You will be a pivotal member of the Villas team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist where necessary to enable the sales team to achieve their team targets and to bring in bookings
- Confirm all services on behalf of the sales team
- Delegate online enquiries within the team
- Generate, check and format confirmation documentation for all bookings generally aiming for 24-48-hour turnaround from request to confirmation
- Liaise with the operations team on all relevant areas
- Assist the sales manager with any reporting requirements necessary
- Support the sales team with booking amends and questions at times they are absent
- Liaise directly with clients regarding any involuntary changes to bookings and offer alternatives
- Maximising every opportunity to upsell and proactively offer additional services
- Take payments on behalf of the sales team where necessary
- Request invoices from suppliers and check costs against the bookings before sending to Accounts to ensure they are paid on time
- Managing final balance payments to ensure they are received on time from the client
- Being exceptionally thorough and accurate in checking all client documentation. Attention to detail is imperative
- Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels.
