Electrical Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter based in Bedford to join our client\’s on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Electrical Fitter role

Salary: £34,500 per annum
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Temp to perm
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 3:30pm, Fridays 7:00am – 2:30pm

Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter

Assemble and fit components as per Bills of Materials, drawings and specifications.
Build development and continuous improvement feedback.
Ensure assembly documentation is completed.
Conduct calibration, service and repair works.
Conduct component-level fault finding.
Maintain KPI to measure performance and demonstrate.
Requirements for a successful Electrical Fitter

NVQ City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering/Assembly
Previous experience within an electrical assembly/workshop fitter role.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Accurate with attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
