For Companies In partnership with Tradewind Recruitment, we are looking for a reliable and proactive individual with experience in site maintenance or as a School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in Sheffield.
Position Details:
- Role: School Caretaker (Key Holder Responsibilities)
- Start Date: August 2025
- Location: Sheffield
- Hours:
- School Holidays: 8:00am - 3:00pm
- Term Time (from September): 7:30am - 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and securing the school site daily
- Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and site upkeep
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and secure environment for pupils and staff
- Liaising with contractors and reporting any health & safety issues
- Supporting with deliveries and site access when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a caretaking or site management role (school experience preferred)
- Trustworthy, punctual, and capable of working independently
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Ability to start from August and commit to full-time hours
