Business Development Director – travel (events & sponsorships)

London – onsite (non-negotiable)

£60,000 base salary, commission from existing customer renewals and new business offering OTE of £100,000 +

25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays

Overseas travel expected

Kindred Recruitment is working on behalf of an established business within media, events and PR, looking to bring onboard an experienced sales and new business professional to head up sales within the UK.

The role is a natural fit for a self-starter, someone who is a proven salesperson and networker with a demonstrable track record in media / PR, events or sponsorship sales within tourism, travel or destination management. Working closely with the senior leadership team, as well as overseeing a small but successful sales team, you will focus on both new business but be attentive to existing clients and their renewals, many of whom are big brand names across a variety of sectors in both the UK and Ireland.

This role offers a natural step up for a seasoned and ambitious media/PR professional with a track record in new business, sales and account management seeking more autonomy and the opportunity to positively impact the business. You’ll attend industry leading events (some overseas) and meet with a wide range of stakeholders and key individuals and businesses in the industry.
