A UK-headquartered private equity firm is looking for an Investor Relations Assistant to join the team in London. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the IR team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have experience working in a similar support role in financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Event management and support, including delegate outreach, logistics and on-site management
  • Managing the Investor Relations mailbox
  • Assisting with investor outreach and managing follow up messages
  • Due diligence meeting arrangements and coordination
  • Assistance with LPAC communications, board packs and materials.

Experience:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant or Team Assistant role, ideally within a private equity firm or placement agent
  • Very strong attention to detail, ability to execute projects and tasks in a time-efficient manner
  • Keen eye for communications, ideally with experience creating email campaigns and HTML invitations
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Resourceful, energetic, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Mature and self-confident with presence and credibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proactive nature, ability to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks at once
