This is a high-impact role where you will take a hands-on approach to solving complex electro-mechanical design challenges while guiding cross-functional teams as a Systems Architect.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of high-value, low-volume medical devices
Define system architecture and technical roadmaps for new products
Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and global teams
Design electro-mechanical components, injection-molded plastics, and sensor-integrated systems
Oversee prototyping, testing, and regulatory compliance (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA)
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and drive innovation through patent submissions
What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical product development
Strong background in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, and new product introduction
Expertise in SolidWorks, CAD, prototyping, and precision manufacturing
Experience working with bioreactors, cell culture, or medical devices (preferred)
Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and risk analysis
Strong communication and leadership skills in multi-disciplinary teams
