Phaidon International is seeking a Bid lead to join our growing team in London. This is a key role within our global bid function, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and direct involvement in securing new business opportunities.

About the Role

The Bids Lead will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the production of high-quality, client-facing documentation, including RFIs, RFPs, and presentations. Reporting to the Global Bids Director, this role involves working with internal teams across Marketing, Finance, HR, and Compliance to deliver compelling and commercially viable proposals.

This position includes management responsibilities, with one Bid Executive as a direct report. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving commercial success by supporting business growth through competitive and well-structured bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full bid lifecycle, from initial response to final submission.
  • Coordinate proposal input from various internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all proposals adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
  • Review and refine content to enhance clarity and commercial impact.
  • Manage tender deadlines and maintain a library of internal sales documents.
  • Generate management information reports for key accounts as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate degree, with an APMP qualification preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in a bids or proposals role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and presenting findings.
