Our client a successful insulation manufacturer and supplier is currently looking for a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team, for a period of up to 16 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to road safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a thorough understanding of commercial driving practices. Working 3 – 6 days per week either between the hours of 0530am – 1430 or (Apply online only) per day with possibility of working a Saturday as and when required, overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours. Duties: * Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods. * Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes. * Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. * Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing of loads. * Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record. Qualifications: * Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles, Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card. * Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
