Class 1 Driver/Cleaner Swindon Our client, a family run commercial automotive business specializing in repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles and trailers, is seeking for a Class 1 Driver/Cleaner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm to share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success. Role: Class Driver/Cleaner Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift, 40 hours per week Location: Swindon Key Responsibility: * moving and parking vehicles to assist the technicians * shunting vehicles in and out of the Depot * take vehicles for annual MOT presentation/collect * carry out forklift checks weekly * parts store husbandry * parts returns and transfer of parts to and from Swindon Depot * keep the workshop, yard and special tool store clean and tidy * cleaning workshop floor when required * waste management, emptying bins and removing scrap items and place in recycled areas * cleaning workshop van Requirements: * self-motivation in the way in which duties are conducted * must hold and maintain a current full driving license and HGV Licence Class 1 * a forklift license is preferable but not essential Benefits: * Monthly Pay * Company Pension * Free on-site parking #hgvdriver #hgvdriver/cleaner #truckdriver #yardsperson #yardscleaner
