Assistant Site Manager / No2 Site Manager – Light Industrial Project £50,000 – £60,000 or £200 – £250 per day Horsham, West Sussex The Company My client is a market-leading contractor that has specialised in industrial projects for over 25 years, with a turnover of £30m+. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality schemes and have a steady pipeline of work ahead. They are currently looking for either an Assistant Site Manager or No2 Site Manager to support the delivery of a light industrial scheme in Farnham, running until September, with plenty of projects lined up thereafter. Groundworks are set to begin in four weeks. The Role – Assistant Site Manager / No2 Site Manager Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include: * Assisting in the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it meets quality, budget, and schedule expectations. * Supporting the management of site teams, subcontractors, and direct operatives to maintain smooth site operations. * Enforcing Health & Safety regulations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. * Working closely with the client, consultants, and supply chain partners to maintain clear communication and effective project execution. * Overseeing site logistics, quality control, and progress reporting to senior management. Requirements for the Role: * Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or No2 Site Manager within the industrial, commercial, or logistics sectors. * A good understanding of construction processes and the ability to coordinate site activities effectively. * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to keep the project on track. * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications. * Must be located within a reasonable commute of Farnham and have a full UK driving licence.
