A leading food delivery company is seeking experienced van drivers to deliver groceries to customers on behalf of a high-end supermarket chain. The depot is located in Greenford, West London, three minutes from Greenford Tube Station on the Central Line.

The Role

  • Delivering online grocery orders direct to customers' homes, including responsibility for the accurate management of paperwork and any items returned by customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Completing accurate vehicle safety checks.
  • Managing customer questions and any complaints in a professional manner.
  • Manual handling will be involved, including the handling and transportation of alcoholic drinks and pork meat products.

Requirements

  • Must have held a UK Drivers License for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Must be able to start between 04.30am and 6am unless PM shifts are wanted.
  • The license must enable you to drive manual vehicles.
  • You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no major endorsements.
  • You must be a good communicator and understand what great customer service is.
  • An enthusiastic and friendly personality will help you to progress in this role.
  • Previous delivery van driver experience is desirable but not essential for the role.
  • You must be available every Monday and Friday, including some weekend availability.

The Pay

£13.92 per hour, plus accrued holiday pay at £1.68 per hour. You will also have access to a discounted shop on site.

AM 04.30am-06.00am starts and PM shifts 11.30 - 14.30 starts available, 5 days a week including every Friday, plus 2 out of Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
