Job Description
£40,000 – £65,000
We currently have two opportunities: one Senior Electronics Design role and a more Junior Design Engineer position, focusing on Digital, Embedded, and Analogue technologies in North Hertfordshire. The Electronics Design Engineer will work with a global organization developing smart tech / IoT and Wireless solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Working on a range of Electronic Designs, including hands-on work with state-of-the-art products mainly focusing on IoT.
- Full product development from conception, specification, and design of prototypes through to manufacture.
- Conducting feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
- Researching new techniques and technologies to enhance the company’s product line.
- Assisting in the design of appropriate tests.
- Providing production support.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree and a proven background in Electronics Design, along with:
- Experience in Digital and Analogue Electronics (there is also a role that is purely Analogue focused).
- Prototyping of circuit board designs.
- Knowledge of Embedded/Firmware of Digital systems would be a distinct advantage.
Two opportunities exist: a more junior role with 1-2 years of experience and another for a more senior Engineer. After probation, hybrid working will be a minimum of 3 days per week depending on project delivery. No visa sponsorship is available, even for PSW. Full UK authorization is required.
