Job Description

£40,000 – £65,000

We currently have two opportunities: one Senior Electronics Design role and a more Junior Design Engineer position, focusing on Digital, Embedded, and Analogue technologies in North Hertfordshire. The Electronics Design Engineer will work with a global organization developing smart tech / IoT and Wireless solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Working on a range of Electronic Designs, including hands-on work with state-of-the-art products mainly focusing on IoT.
  2. Full product development from conception, specification, and design of prototypes through to manufacture.
  3. Conducting feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
  4. Researching new techniques and technologies to enhance the company’s product line.
  5. Assisting in the design of appropriate tests.
  6. Providing production support.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree and a proven background in Electronics Design, along with:

  1. Experience in Digital and Analogue Electronics (there is also a role that is purely Analogue focused).
  2. Prototyping of circuit board designs.
  3. Knowledge of Embedded/Firmware of Digital systems would be a distinct advantage.

Two opportunities exist: a more junior role with 1-2 years of experience and another for a more senior Engineer. After probation, hybrid working will be a minimum of 3 days per week depending on project delivery. No visa sponsorship is available, even for PSW. Full UK authorization is required.
