An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our well-established client in Amersham.
This is an opportunity for someone looking to develop their engineering career. The role will work alongside the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and have access to modern tools and technologies to support professional mechanical design.

ROLE:

  1. Operate in a high volume fast paced environment where commitment to the role and attention to detail is paramount.
  2. Working on CAD / SolidWorks software for drafting and modelling.
  3. Assist in design and development.
  4. Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed design specifications.
  5. Assembly of work once designed.
  6. Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
  7. Prepare design concepts.
  8. Visit suppliers and customers from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Fluent in English, with a proficient level of customer service experience.
  2. Recognised industry qualification, with at least 1 year experience in the industry.
  3. A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  4. Proficient in CAD and SolidWorks.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Hands-on experience with a confident approach.
  7. Have a flair for component design.
  8. Able to work on your own initiative.
