Electrically Biased Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Permanent
Basic salary + shift allowance + overtime available
Excellent company culture and mature environment

Experience of working in a high-speed manufacturing environment?

Strong electrical maintenance experience with enough mechanical know-how to fault find and carry out non-complex mechanical repairs?

I’ve got just the role for you!

This opportunity would be ideal for someone who has:

  1. Successfully worked in a multi-skilled or electrically biased maintenance engineer role previously
  2. At least 2-3 years of site-based or field-based experience
  3. Experience in an industrial setting such as factory maintenance, plant equipment, manufacturing or production environments
  4. Experience working on large scale, capital production equipment
  5. A desire to push on with their career within an established team and business, with opportunities to develop, learn, and grow in a supportive, mature environment

This is a maintenance engineer position where you will have autonomy, where suitable, but will be working within a wider team that will support you, just as you will be expected to support them.

Daily tasks will include all aspects of typical maintenance engineering such as:

  1. Fault finding
  2. Troubleshooting
  3. PPMs (planned maintenance)
  4. Installation works
  5. Reactive repairs
  6. Corrective measures

We are looking for a talented multi-skilled maintenance engineer who can add value with their electrical knowledge and experience. Holding a Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent) is not necessarily needed, and further training can be offered, but you MUST have core fault-finding and electrical knowledge.

Working pattern is shift work between 6am and 10pm.
