Job Description

A food manufacturer based in Aberdeen has an opening for a Technical Account Manager to advise, manage, and maintain all technical information to meet the present customer and legal requirements.

Duties:

  1. Main point of day-to-day contact for all customers.
  2. Ensure all technical communication to the customer is joined up and aligned with the business key functions (Commercial, NPD/Process, Operations, Technical and Supply Chain).
  3. Communicate to business all customer technical requirements and requests, challenging where relevant and resolve issues at pace.
  4. Lead customer initiatives, ensuring projects are communicated effectively and within the agreed timescales.
  5. Work in collaboration and with the site to deliver a consistent reduction in complaints and communicate trends.
  6. Ensure complaint responses are completed in a timely manner with effective root cause analysis.
  7. Manage all technical customer visits to site and within the supply base.
  8. Ownership and support during new product development from innovation to product launch including:
  1. Attending product trials
  2. Preparation and management of Customer specific specifications
  3. Preparation and maintenance of QAS
  4. Shelf-Life approval
  5. Nutritional review
  6. Cooking validation review
  7. Artwork Approval
  8. Completion of internal audits.
  9. Export documentation

Essential:

  1. Proficient in the completion of customer specifications
  2. Well presented.
  3. Excellent communication skills: verbal & written.
  4. Excellent attention to detail, people skills and organisation skills
  5. Ability to operate successfully in a fast-changing environment.
  6. Problem solving: A focused, pragmatic approach to solving problems. Able to use root cause analysis to identify, assess and select the most appropriate course of action to resolve issues.
  7. Degree educated. (desirable)

On Offer:

  1. £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
  2. Monday – Friday
  3. 28 days annual leave
