Job Description
Are you an experienced electrical engineer ready to take on a leadership role and drive major projects? This innovative engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale, interesting projects and develop your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering projects and lead a small team to ensure timely and within budget-delivery
- Working across sectors including government, critical systems, data centres, pharmaceutical, workplace and residential
- Produce high-quality engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using advanced technical software
- Supervise and coordinate the production of technical drawings and reports
- Mentor and develop less experienced staff, fostering their professional growth
- Attend and actively participate in client and project meetings
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
- Ensure compliance with project management, QA, Environmental, and Health and Safety procedures.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline
- Proven technical competence and experience in managing engineering projects
- Strong ability to plan and programme work for yourself and others
- Commitment to supporting the professional development of team members
- Relevant experience working in a consultancy environment
- Knowledge of Amtech and Dialux is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and using initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
