With nearly 20 years experience within HVAC and M&E sectors, this company knows what it takes to provide excellent service for their clients. They subcontract for some major names in the industry as well as having their own clients in the commercial and healthcare sectors. Salary and Benefits of a Commercial Gas Engineer:

  1. £50-56k basic salary depending on experience
  2. 22 days holidays + 8 bank holidays
  3. Van, phone, fuel card, specialist tools
  4. Overtime available – no call out rota

Responsibilities:

  1. Covering areas including London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and across to Birmingham
  2. Install, service, maintenance, and breakdowns on commercial gas boilers and equipment
  3. Working on commercial boilers, Ambirads, radiant tube, warm air heating, equipment up to 2.5MW and combustion burners
  4. Working with long-standing commercial clients

Skills needed to be a Commercial Gas Engineer:

  1. Ideally living around the Bedfordshire area to travel across to Birmingham and still make it into London
  2. Experience working on commercial boilers and combustion equipment as well as commercial plumbing and pipe work
  3. Commercial gas certs are essential
  4. Experience with BMS, air conditioning, or having your OFTEC cert would be an advantage but is not essential
