To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Heating Engineer/Plumber to join our team working out of our Catterick Branch.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled, customer-focused Heating Engineer/Plumber who will be involved in carrying out servicing and repairs of primarily gas appliances in domestic properties on MOD sites in York and surrounding areas. Experience in housing maintenance/repair would be desirable.
Person Specification
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A thorough understanding of Health and Safety and safe systems of working
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to work to high standards
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work alone or collaboratively
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems as and when they arise
- Full UK Driving License
- The engineer must hold current ACS with CKR1, CENWAT, CPA1, and HTR1 as a minimum
- Ability to use PDA
An MOD check will be carried out.
