Job Description
Job Title: Contracts Manager (Civil Engineering)
Location: Solihull to Buckinghamshire (Sites include Southam, Bicester, Aylesbury)
Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + Benefits
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee civil engineering projects across roads, highways, structures, and drainage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing civils company and progress within their expanding Midlands division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage civil engineering projects including road re-alignment, bridge construction, and drainage works.
- Lead the tendering and work-winning process for new projects.
- Oversee multiple projects and project managers, ensuring successful delivery.
- Report to the Operations Director and conduct regular site visits.
Requirements:
- Strong background in managing civil engineering projects (roads, highways, structures, drainage).
- HNC or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven leadership and project management experience.
Salary & Benefits:
- £90,000 – £100,000 base salary
- Pension (7% employer, 5% employee)
- 24 days holiday (increasing with service)
- Company car (hybrid/electric) or car allowance
- Fuel reimbursed on mileage basis
- Discretionary bonus, private medical insurance, death in service
Working Hours & Location:
- Roaming role with regular site visits
- Head Office (Uxbridge) 1 day per week
