Key Accountabilities – Test Engineer

  1. Undertaking Factory Acceptance tests using standard workshop test equipment such as power supplies, digital multi-meters & oscilloscopes.
  2. Assist in creating test procedures and FAT documents.
  3. Fault-find electromechanical equipment.
  4. Able to read complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams and PCB schematics.
  5. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  6. Adhere to the company’s procedures, policies and goals.
  7. Ensure at all times that health & safety regulations and guidelines are followed.
  8. Ensure that all procedures are followed as specified in the Quality Manual.
  9. Maintain documentation to ensure it is kept accurate and up to date in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

Skills and Knowledge required – Test Engineer

  1. Excellent knowledge of manual testing electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
  2. Ability to write comprehensive test plans and factory acceptance tests for new product launches.
  3. Will be able to support production and quality activities when required.
  4. ONC or equivalent in Electronics Engineering.
  5. Experience with manual test and integration.
