We have a dedicated team of approximately 50 staff handling over 100,000 despatches per month on behalf of several thousand retail stores. Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BPMN2, Azure DevOps, and Power BI, along with strong experience in business rules, requirement writing, user stories, and use case writing.
The business analyst will ideally be experienced working in an agile software delivery environment that uses Azure DevOps, VSTS and/or Jira and will have a background in Software development and cloud infrastructure, Application development or Business Change with a proven track record working on fast and complex projects.
Essential requirements for this Business Analyst role:
- Business Process Modelling: Utilise BPMN2 to design and document business processes, ensuring they align with organisational goals.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- User Stories and Use Cases: Develop clear and concise user stories and use cases to support software development and project management.
- Use of tools: Azure DevOps, Jira, Excel, Gherkin, Cucumber or equivalent.
- Power BI: Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Business Rules: Define and document business rules to ensure consistency and compliance across processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualities And Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of apprenticeship or a Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- A team player with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Assisting in the development of reports and managing requirement sets.
- Creating PBIs, assessing effort and managing to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, with a close working relationship with Product Owners.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure multi-team environment.
- Fluent in English with strong grammar and pronunciation skills.
