Are you currently stuck in a role that isn’t providing you with enough exposure and progression? Or perhaps you are seeking a new environment and culture?
If so, I’m working closely with a global media production business that is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in Glasgow.
Reporting directly to the Senior Management Accountant, you will work closely with members of the Finance team and also, the Head of Production and the production managers.
The main function of this role is to account for both the revenue and costs for various productions and assist in the preparation of the management accounts.
- Reconciliation of the production budgets to the finance system on a regular basis.
- Assist the Senior Management Accountant in the production of the monthly management accounts.
- Review of month end production accruals to ensure accurate reflection of work completed to date.
- Preparation of individual production accounts using activity-based revenue recognition and then posting appropriate journals to the finance system.
- Maintain the royalty schedule with incoming revenue statements.
