What You Will Do

We are looking for a motivated analyst with product analytics experience that is passionate about understanding online user behaviour combined with a strong business sense. Your goals will be to generate actionable insights about user behaviour and support the design and evaluation of experiments, helping Product teams in your area make better decisions and thereby accelerate Skyscanner’s growth and product performance.

  1. Partner closely with Product colleagues to understand and inform the Product strategy with actionable user behaviour insights.
  2. Identify the problems to be solved, refine hypotheses, determine and analyse relevant data, and present actionable insights which enable better product and design decisions.
  3. Design and evaluate thorough experiments to generate findings and measure the effectiveness of our products.
  4. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the user experience in your Product area based on exploratory analysis, in partnership with User Research.
  5. Present findings to key stakeholders in verbal and written form with effective data visualisations and recommendations.
  6. Define success metrics and targets for product experience across the user journey and implement reporting solutions.
  7. Design and evaluate A/B tests using our experimentation tool, ensuring accurate decisions are made and learnings are shared.
  8. Design and develop dashboard and data visualisations to monitor product performance and user behaviour.
  9. Train colleagues to self-serve data for simple / recurrent use cases.
  10. Define and build datasets for analytics.
  11. Actively contribute to building an increasingly data-driven, user-centric culture across the company.

What are we looking for :-

  1. You have worked 2+ years in a product analytics role with a track record of influencing Product decisions and roadmaps with user insights.
  2. You excel at communicating findings as clear narratives to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  3. You can expertly manipulate and analyse large datasets using SQL (Python is a bonus).
  4. You have strong data visualisation skills and experience with analytical platforms such as Tableau.
  5. You have statistical competence (such as Experimental design, A/B testing, Regression Modelling, etc).
  6. You enjoy working in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment with teammates from a variety of disciplines.
  7. You can handle multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  8. You collaborate to identify and scope out new opportunities to positively impact Skyscanner’s product and vision.
  9. You’re skilled in taking on loosely defined challenges, working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Bonus Points For

  1. Experience with Python or PySpark for data analysis.
  2. Experience of Product Analytics in an online marketplace.
  3. Experience with a web-based platform for working with Spark such as Databricks.
