What you’ll do
We’re recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Enterprise Finance team at Vodafone UK. The Vodafone Enterprise Finance team delivers a large sum of revenue, offering both mobile & fixed services covering 1,500 accounts, including some of the biggest household names across the UK and globally.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Senior Commercial Finance Manager to support National Government programmes within Key Accounts. This role will provide challenge and support to drive the P&L performance and delivery of the programmes. The role interfaces with multiple stakeholders across Enterprise, Finance, our suppliers, and our customers.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
- Drive the National Government team to deliver the targets for revenue, margin, and EBITDA including a focus on billing, cash collection, purchase orders, and resource utilisation.
- Support and influence financial and commercial decision making through partnering and challenging the business.
- Provide commercial insight on the results, trends, and follow-up actions. Clear and concise articulation of financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- A thorough understanding of the dynamics of the programme performance is required and an ability to articulate the impacts from business activity and recommend ways to improve performance.
Who you are
- Demonstrable business partnering experience, with an ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ideally qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent), with a working knowledge of commercial analysis.
- Analytical mindset with a high attention to detail.
- Adept in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
