Home working vs. office : We are flexible with regard to home working vs. office; we want you to work where you do your best work. As a guide, across our business we will typically do 1 or 2 days a week in the office. The Role
As a member of our Insight team, you’ll work across a portfolio of client accounts to deliver data, insights, and experimentation. You’ll leverage customer data and insights to improve online engagement, identify issues, and enhance the customer experience. Using our Good Growth Technology platform, you will manage testing and innovation, analyze results, and validate commercial impacts.
You’ll collaborate with Project Management and Technology teams to blend quantitative and qualitative insights and deliver innovative programmes of experimentation. This role requires a recent graduate with a minimum 2:1 or above in a scientific or mathematics discipline, with 1-2 years of post-graduation work experience in a scientific, mathematical or similar role. Laboratory experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Impact: Drive performance analytics and experimentation to generate measurable client results.
- Data Analytics: Ensure high-quality analysis, extracting data from platforms (GA, Adobe, etc.) and delivering insights.
- Customer Insight: Identify and address customer frustration through data-driven experimentation and reporting.
- Experimentation: Apply the scientific method to A/B testing and conversion rate optimization for clients.
- Team Player: Work with Accounts and Technology teams, mentor junior staff, and support new business efforts.
- Industry Expertise: Stay updated on digital trends, technologies, and best practices to drive account value.
Internally, this role is known as Analytical Manager.

Essential
- A background in mathematics or science, having achieved a 2:1 or higher class BSc. Undergraduate degree or higher in a mathematics or pure science discipline
- At least 2 years work experience post-University graduation, preferably in a technical or analytical role but any experience will be considered
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Availability for client travel and travel to the Good Growth Exeter office for full-team workshops (on average twice per month)
Preferred
- Familiarity with web analytics and customer insight platforms including Google Analytics (UA, GA4), Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, Hotjar and Supermetrics; however, full training will be provided
- An understanding of A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation best practices and familiarity with A/B testing platforms; Optimizely, Google Optimize; however, full training will be provided
