Job Description

Our client is a leading centre of excellence for people with complex neuro conditions. This charity is independent from the NHS but works closely with it to provide the best possible care for people living with neuro conditions. This is a Monday – Friday, day shift (8-4) static role based near Putney in a client-side estates team. In addition to a salary of up to £43,000 in this Building Services Senior Maintenance Engineer role, you will be rewarded with a large range of benefits including:

Within this building services mechanical maintenance role, you will be working in a team of specialist maintenance engineers and be tasked with a variety of plumbing and mechanical maintenance duties.

Your static maintenance role will include:

  • Planned preventive maintenance
  • Fault finding, repairs, and minor installation works on all facilities, plant, and equipment throughout the estate
  • Water treatment
  • Reactive plumbing
  • Mechanical plant maintenance such as AHU, hot and cold water systems, BMS, FCU, and boilers

You will be reporting to the estates manager who will develop and support you within your mechanical maintenance role.

For this Static Plumbing Maintenance role, we are looking for:

  • A NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds in Plumbing and Heating, or a Mechanical Engineering degree or HND
  • Previous maintenance experience working in a hospital or similar environment within building services engineering
  • Experience of mechanical PPMs and mechanical plant room maintenance
  • Experience of water compliance, TMVs, legionella management, and water systems
  • Living close to Putney
