The predicted salary is between 40000 - 46000 £ per year.
1. Assess, identify and evaluate own knowledge and practice needs in relation to knowledge and skills required to meet the demand of the role.
2. Understand the team member\’s role and scope of practice.
3. Identify development needs and take responsibility for their continuing professional development and performance.
4. Make effective use of appropriate learning opportunities for others.
5. Act as a role model and support professional development of all students and junior staff.
6. Exercise effective managerial and clinical leadership of the team.
7. Support the implementation of induction programmes, preceptorship and PMA input.
8. Responsible for organisation and operational management of continuity of carer teams.
9. Responsible for day to day line management of band 5/6 midwives and maternity support workers/care assistants in continuity of carer teams.
10. Responsible for day to day supervision, allocation and co-ordination of clinically based teams ensuring adequate cover and skill mix for the 24/7 period.
11. Ensure continuity of carer team members attend statutory and mandatory training days.
