That’s why our housing, education, justice, and health and wellbeing services work alongside people to give them the support and skills they need to succeed.

And it’s why we fight for their voices to be heard and campaign together to create lasting change.

What we offer:

  • Autonomy to innovate, manage your centre your way and be part of big decisions.
  • Have genuine impact every day on young people who need it the most within the community around your centre.
  • Smaller class sizes for students and a small, dedicated team to lead.
  • A national network of support and services from teams dedicated to improvement, student experience, and curriculum.
  • Fully funded progression routes with access to teaching, leadership, and coaching qualifications.
  • A unique industry focus on wellbeing with a genuine work-life balance, including annual leave available to request all year round.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking someone who is passionate about improving the lives and chances of young people who may have had multiple barriers to education in the past.

We need someone who will embrace a varied role, acting as the centre manager and being the leader of a small team.

We want someone who is excited about developing, improving, and nurturing their team to provide impactful teaching, learning, and assessment.

What will I be doing as a programme leader?

As the key on-site manager of one of our centres, you will develop and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment whilst supporting your team to deliver high-quality education to our students. You will line manage the teaching team and, with support, may deliver some teaching yourself as part of the role. You will report to a head of curriculum and engagement and will work closely with them and other managers to bring about improvements and overcome day-to-day challenges.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Line management of a team of teachers and learning support colleagues.
  • Overall day-to-day management of the centre.
  • Ensure that curriculum is delivered effectively and efficiently, working with central teams and other managers to raise standards.
  • Safeguarding, including acting as a designated safeguarding lead in your centre.
  • Working with employers and others in the community to provide enhanced learning experiences for students.

Essential requirements for this role:

  • GCSE 4/C English and maths or equivalent.
  • Level 3 AET or equivalent / relevant teaching and learning related qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality and regulatory frameworks and practices.

Interviews will start week commencing 24th March 2025.
