Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products and concrete products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for an Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a team of 4 on-site
- Managing contractors
- Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
- Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation are up to date
- Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times
- Optimising production output and KPI management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must have at least 3 years experience as an Asphalt Plant Manager
- People management experience is essential
- NEBOSH certificate would be beneficial but can be obtained on the job
- Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
- Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
- Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
- Knowledge of mixer, shovel and weighbridge operations
- Good time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
