About the job you\’re considering

Are you ready to take your VoIP and Unified Communications expertise to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Cisco Lead Engineer to join our growing team! You’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing cutting-edge communication platforms that keep our teams connected and productive.

This is an on-site role based in Stevenage 5 days a week.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status,
employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check
(known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your role

  • Resolve Level 2 and 3 Telephony / Videoconferencing Oriented Incidents
  • Respond to specific hardware or application requests.
  • Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing Projects
  • Assist the operations teams on an ad hoc basis.
  • Ensure the MCO of the Telephony and Videoconferencing infrastructure.
  • Management of local team and sharing of skills.

Your skills and experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx.), Webex, and Cisco video conferencing (endpoints, TMS, Pexip …)
  • Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSan
  • Storage Knowledge of Kurmi, Telsica, PeterConnects ecosystems
  • Good knowledge of SIP/H323 protocols and WAN/LAN and security as well as system administration and PC environment would be a plus.
  • Team Management/ People Skills.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance .
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
