About The Role & Team

As part of the London-based EMEA Disney Advertising team, you will help support our sponsorship and partnerships business for Disney+ in the UK. You will focus on delivering sponsorship and integrated partnerships opportunities for Disney+, delivering both on-platform opportunities, off-platform opportunities (social, events, promotions and custom content), and in-show integrations to drive incremental revenue.

You will work alongside the agency sales team to identify priority target brands and partners, as well as ensure that we are covering all key decision-makers in the agency. You will be directly responsible for supporting the relationship with partnerships teams, ensuring we are delivering and servicing them with best-in-class sponsorship and partnership opportunities across Disney+. In addition, you will look to target client direct conversations for specific opportunities.

You will work with lots of different stakeholders across the business to align on priorities and collaborate on opportunities. To do this effectively, there will be an emphasis on ensuring excellent levels of communication across the organisation; to share information in a timely and efficient manner, locally, regionally, and globally.

What You Will Do

  • Help drive sponsorship and partnership opportunities in the UK.
  • Ensure delivering best-in-class opportunities for agencies and partners.
  • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to ensure deals are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Help respond to briefs, working with Disney Creativeworks / brand solutions team.
  • Help identify integrated opportunities with off-platform extensions such as social, events, and custom content.
  • Help coordinate any integrated partnerships with other lines of business.
  • Responsible for refining the opportunity and pitching to clients.
  • Develop a strong network of client and agency relationships.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience at Manager level (essential).
  • Previous media sales experience (essential).
  • Prior experience in a sponsorship role (preferable).
  • Strong multifaceted deal negotiation skills (essential).
  • Experience with international or global partnership deals.
  • Good understanding of media landscape and ideally TV/CTV experience.
  • An understanding of IP rights, protocol, and processes.
  • Experience of successfully influencing senior management & direct reports.
  • Knowledge of product placement or AFP is also desirable.
  • Consultative selling – understanding of the different objectives that a partner might have, and an ability to design campaigns to meet those (essential).
  • Confident communicator with exceptional presentation skills (essential).
  • Inter-company collaboration – the ability to build strong collaborative relationships within The Walt Disney Company, across all lines of business (essential).
