Due to continuing growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team.
About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a range of communications publications projects. The role would suit a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking and is motivated to drive and develop the business. Using your project management and leadership skills, you will deliver a range of scientific services to clients, including scientific and strategic consultation and publications planning for new and existing drug therapies. You will research information from various sources to provide expertise in therapy areas and products and act as a primary client liaison point. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent relations with clients, meeting and surpassing client needs, and guaranteeing high business standards.
You will work as part of a collaborative team and supervise a range of publications projects on dynamic and fast-paced accounts. You will lead on planning and strategy and be a primary liaison point. The role will be varied and include managing alignment across sub-teams and involvement across the full life cycle with products at various stages of development. Using your project management and scientific skills, you will deliver a range of scientific services to clients. You will research information from various sources to provide expertise in therapy areas and products and maintain excellent relations with clients, meeting and surpassing client needs and guaranteeing high business standards.
To succeed you will have:
- A BSc in Life Sciences
- Previous experience working in a medical communications environment, particularly in publications projects
- A proven background in project and client management experience
- Excellent project management skills and be comfortable leading on client-facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
- Experience in publications deliverables and strategy.
- Strong therapy area experience.
- Good financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting.
- A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
